Across the nation, educators and students have been or soon will be on spring break. As we welcome the change of weather and look forward to the bloom of the season, it is also a much needed rejuvenation time for teachers. We know that when we return from the vacation, there is one more segment until the end of the school year.
And while it is no surprise that educators will be working and planning for the time ahead, it is fitting to also use this break to recognize the work that has been done. The last two years have been significant reminders of the role of education and the value teachers have on society both as a whole and as for individual students.
With this in mind, I cast a spotlight on the Educator Marketplace as a venue for spring break celebrations. The list below illuminates my favorite categories to explore and some of the deals under each.
- Home Improvement: As a new homeowner, I couldn’t help but put this first. Yes, I was doing my own shopping while writing this from Lovesac, Plants.com, and Home Depot.
- Travel: Whether last minute getaways or planning ahead, deals from Kipling and Eagle Creek makes traveling easy and fun.
- Fashion: A change of seasons means a switch in wardrobe. Lacoste, Nordstrom Rack, and Michael Kors can all fill those fashion gaps and refresh your style.
- Health and Beauty: Health is everything and looking and feeling good is important. Products from Olay, The Vitamin Shoppe, and Thrive Market will help you welcome the new season in with a smile.
- Spring Educator Exclusive Deals: It is great being an educator! The Marketplace has gathered a variety of specials! Offerings from Petmate, The Mailbox, and 50% off at Reebok, are just the tip of the iceberg.
As you decide how to take some time for yourself this spring, I hope that my suggestions are just a starting point. Thank you for your dedication and expertise; have a wonderful break!
