Creativity is my Middle Name

By. Craig Perrier

Teachers, in general, are a creative bunch of people.  By this I mean mind-blowing levels of creativity that manifests in so many ways. Starting with the ability to develop positive relationships, with their classroom set up and environment, navigating the demands on their time, and, of course, the way they teach. In my experience, seeing this creativity in action is an inspiring and impressive act that makes you want to share it with everyone you know.

As we start the school year, creativity will be in high demand.  The value of this skillset will be apparent throughout the year and should be a shared commodity in and across schools and districts. To this end here are some of my favorite educators who embrace creativity and collaboration.

  • Burned-In Teacher: With over a decade of classroom teaching experience, Amber is relatable and creates a connection to her audience to support them through the toughest of times.
  • Catlin Tucker: The best teachers are those who love to learn! My love of learning led me to a career in education and continues to drive my work today.
  • Teachers Without Borders: For over twenty years, Teachers Without Borders has attracted talent aligned with our values. We nurture it, connect it, and watch it blossom.  All TWB programs are conceived and led by our members. We walk the talk of bottom-up development.

Enacting your creative energies is always easier if you have the right tools and support.  Educator Marketplace can provide those dimensions. These categories of deals-  Back to School,  Curriculum Manipulatives, and School Supplies – can support your projects and nurture your creative drive.  Whatever you do, be sure to share your ideas with other educators.  They, and their students will surely benefit from your effort.  Have a great year!
